Episode 04: The Future Is Female

Today we are introducing you to five incredible women making an impact in wine...all over the globe. They talk business, family, life and everything in between. This is a conversation you don't want to miss!

Dr. Laura Catena joins us from Catena Winery, based in Mendoza, Argentina. Dr. Catena is an author as well, with her latest release, Gold in the Vineyards: Illustrated stories of the world's most celebrated vineyards. Catena is currently the number one winery in the world.

Maria released her book, Pinot Girl: A Family. A Region. An Industry, in 2020.

Carlotta Salvini has been named the number one sommelier in Italy. She also serves as the Hospitality Director at Felsina Winery and is an amazing content creator and oenologist.

Cheramie Law recently launched her first ever wine with Cheramie Wine, the first African-American owned winery in Texas. She is definitely someone to watch this year!

Tara Empson oversees the management and operations of Empson USA. Since 2014, Tara has managed the relationship with supplier clients, which are currently exported in 28 countries worldwide. Tara was named to Wine Spectator's 40 Under 40 Tastemakers list in 2019.
